How It Started

I'm Latrice, and About Snoutz started with Cindy.

I was a frustrated dog owner searching online for dog training advice, only to end up more confused.
And because dog friends don’t let dog friends spiral online, About Snoutz was created to cut the guesswork and make training easier. Cindy deserved the best, and your dog does too.
We partner with certified, experienced trainers to bring you practical, humane training programs that work in your everyday life.

Jocelyn, from Muttineer Dog Training, is a behavior consultant and the leading force-free reactivity expert in LA.
With over 15 years of experience, she's trained dogs from puppies learning manners to dogs facing serious behavior challenges. She brings the same success from her in-person training to our virtual programs.
Jocelyn loves helping dogs and their families thrive, making sure all of our programs are engaging, evidence-based, and help build confidence for both you and your dog.

Joan Hunter Mayer

Joan is one of our experts who will take the guesswork out of training your dog. She comes to us from the Inquisitive Canine with a 20+ year track record of solving the behaviors that drive dog owners crazy. She trained at the Academy for Dog Trainers (the Harvard of dog training schools) and holds multiple certifications. She's constantly learning about animal behavior science to bring you the best methods.

She's a visionary who's been doing virtual and online dog training for over 15 years, long before it became popular. That pioneer mindset shows up in everything she does. Joan was an early adopter of force-free training, making sure that even dogs with challenging behaviors like reactivity get humane, effective methods instead of heavy-handed approaches.

Joan goes beyond just training dogs, she helps dog families thrive. She gets that it's not just about "fixing" a behavior, it's about building confidence and a real connection between you and your dog.
